The Civil Liberties Defense Center is pleased as punch to invite you to join us for a foot stomping, fun-filled night of music and dancing at the WOW Hall on February 27, 2009 from 7pm-12am--the Friday night of the Public Interest Environmental Law Conference in Eugene, OR. We will have some of your favorite green musicians like David Rovics, the Whiskey Spots, Underscore Orkestra and the Rum Rebellion. In addition, you will be entertained by author Derrick Jensen and poet Andrew Rodman. This event will be a benefit for the CLDC's activist defense and political prisoner work. The event will highlight and provide information regarding those who have surrendered their liberty in defense of the earth-whether refusing to leave a Congressional office or as a result of the Green Scare. Together our movement is stronger.

This event is the official Friday night entertainment for the 2009 Public Interest Environmental Law Conference, which will be held from February 26 through March 1. This year the theme of the conference is "Solidarity! United Action for the Greener Good." We hope to see you there!
